To strengthen its Flight Services team in Hong Kong, Jet Aviation is seeking a Captain for the B737NG / Max 8 fleet. The Captain plays a crucial role in supporting aircraft operations, upholding the highest standards of flight safety and operational procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional professional service to clients. This position reports directly to the Director Flight Operations, focusing specifically on the B737 fleets based in Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard.
  • Strictly adhering to all operational procedures and checklists in accordance with the provisions of the Operations Manual (FOM).
  • Confirming that all crew members are at their designated stations prior to take-off, final approach, and landing.
  • Prohibiting any crew member from performing activities during critical flight phases (take-off, initial climb, final approach, landing) unless required for safe aircraft operation.
  • Ensuring flight data and cockpit voice recorders are not disabled or erased, except when necessary for accident/incident investigation to prevent automatic erasure.
  • Coordinating workload distribution within the flight crew to achieve optimal airmanship during flight conduct.
  • Executing precise navigation and maintaining adherence to minimum altitudes.
  • Observing the limitations of all aircraft systems and ensuring the proper use and handling of the aircraft.
  • Enforcing the rigorous use of checklists.
  • Verifying that the remaining usable fuel is sufficient to reach a safe landing airport with final reserve fuel intact.
  • Maintaining close communication with the cabin crew to ensure all requirements concerning cabin safety are followed.
  • Ensuring the accurate and complete finalization of flight and technical logs.
  • Submitting written occurrence and accident reports should the necessity arise.
  • Maintaining continuous familiarity with relevant aviation regulations, company operations manuals (JBJH/JBJS), and agreed aviation practices pertinent to the role.
  • Upholding a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of the company.
  • Complying with the regulations outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO).
  • Ensuring all passengers receive a comprehensive briefing on the location of emergency exits and the location and use of relevant safety and emergency equipment.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Possession of a valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with a type rating for the Boeing B737NG / Max 8 (accepted authorities include FAA, UK, or EASA).
  • A minimum of 500 hours experience on type.
