Pilot in Command – Gulfstream G200
Location: Full-Time, Atlanta, GA
Position Overview
Jet Linx is actively recruiting qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) candidates for its Super Midsize jet aircraft fleet, operating under Part 91 and Part 135 flight regulations. The successful candidate will be based in Atlanta, Georgia, and is expected to reside within a two-hour call-out radius of the aircraft, or be willing to relocate. The Pilot in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in strict accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and established company procedures.
Minimum Flight Experience Requirements
- Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
- Total Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2,000 hours
- Total PIC in Type (Gulfstream G200): 250 hours
- Multi-Engine Flight Time: 1,000 hours
- Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Turbine Flight Time: 1,000 hours
- Total Turbine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Instrument Flight Time: 300 hours
- Total Jet Flight Time: 1,500 hours
- Total Jet PIC Time: 500 hours
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage duty, flight, and rest periods in compliance with company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Maintain proactive communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position updates, and pre- and post-flight reports.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and management of Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and associated applications.
- Verify that all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current and up-to-date.
- Possess and maintain a current First Class Medical Certificate.
- Demonstrate strong, proactive decision-making capabilities.
- Uphold and embody Jet Linx's core values in all professional interactions.
Additional Qualifications
- Preference given to candidates with initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months.
- Ability to obtain a valid U.S. driver's license.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Possess a current passport.
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate or the ability to obtain one.
- Current First Class Medical Certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and participate in random drug and alcohol testing as required.
- Unrestricted ability to travel to all European Union (EU) member countries, Canada, and Caribbean nations.
- Ability to authorize and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database (PRD) review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs dictate.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
- The majority of work is performed in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Compensation and Benefits
Jet Linx offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. The starting base annual salary for this position ranges from $160,000 to $245,000. The final base salary is determined by factors including geographic location, aircraft size (crew positions), relevant education, training, and the candidate's overall experience. The comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a 6% company match, paid time off, and company-paid life and short-term disability coverage.
