Pilot in Command - Falcon 90EX - Miami, FL
Jet Linx, a leader in private aviation, seeks an experienced and dedicated Pilot in Command to join our team operating a Falcon 90EX aircraft for both Part 91 and 135 flight operations. This full-time position is based in Miami, FL, and requires the candidate to live within a 2-hour call-out time of the base or be willing to relocate.
Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot, the Pilot in Command (PIC) holds the critical responsibility of ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft. The PIC will adhere to all Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures in all aspects of their duties.
Minimum Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of experience, knowledge, and unwavering dedication to safety. Specific requirements include:
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Total Pilot in Command Time: 2000 hours
- Total Time in Type (Falcon 90EX): 250 hours
- Total PIC Time in Type (Falcon 90EX): 250 hours
- Total Multi-Engine Time: 1500 hours
- Total Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Total Turbine Time: 500 hours
- Total Instrument Time: 300 hours
- Current First Class Medical Certificate
- Valid U.S. Driver's License (or ability to obtain)
- Proof of Eligibility to Work in the United States
- Current Passport
- ATP Certificate (or ability to obtain)
- FCC Restricted Radio License
- Ability to Pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Submit to Random Drug/Alcohol Testing
- Unrestricted Travel Eligibility to the EU, Canada, and the Caribbean
- Ability to Pass an FAA Pilot Record Database Review
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Initial or Recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months
Essential Functions:
- Meticulously manage duty, flight, and rest times to comply with company policies and CFRs.
- Maintain consistent and clear communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports.
- Proficiently manage and maintain electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and software applications.
- Ensure all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current and readily accessible.
- Consistently demonstrate strong, proactive decision-making skills, particularly in flight operations.
- Embody and exemplify Jet Linx's core values in all interactions with colleagues, clients, and partners.
Additional Requirements:
- The ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is essential.
- This role primarily operates in and around aircraft and airport terminals.
- The ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently is required.
