Pilot in Command – Gulfstream G-IV

Position Summary:
Jet Linx is seeking a qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) for Part 91 heavy jet flight operations. Reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot, the PIC is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in strict accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. Candidates must reside or be willing to relocate within a 2-hour call-out radius of the Austin base.
Minimum Flight Requirements

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Manage duty, flight, and rest times in compliance with company policies and CFRs.

Maintain consistent communication for standby assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and reporting.

Manage Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and applications.

Ensure all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals remain current.

Uphold professional decision-making and represent company core values in all interactions.
Professional Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
-
Current 1st Class medical certificate.

ATP certification (or ability to obtain).
-
FCC Restricted Radio License.

Current passport with unrestricted travel ability to EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.

Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license.
-
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Successful completion of an FAA Pilot Record Database review.

Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and ongoing random testing (testing includes marijuana, cocaine, opiates, phencyclidine, and amphetamines).

Preferred: Initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months.

Physical requirements: Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently; work is performed primarily in and around aircraft and terminals.
Compensation and Benefits
Jet Linx offers a competitive compensation package with a starting base salary ranging from $195,000 to $251,000, determined by geographic location, aircraft specifications, education, and relevant experience. Comprehensive benefits include:
