Job Overview
A distinguished aviation organization is actively recruiting experienced Pilot in Command candidates to manage its midsize jet aircraft fleet. This pivotal role supports both Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations, demanding a high level of professionalism, safety consciousness, and operational expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing and executing flight operations in accordance with company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
- Diligent management of duty, flight, and rest periods to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and company standards.
- Maintaining clear and consistent communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position updates, and comprehensive pre- and post-flight reporting.
Qualifications and Requirements
Prospective candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to aviation excellence and possess the following minimum qualifications:
- Minimum total flight time: 3500 hours
- Minimum Pilot in Command (PIC) time: 2000 hours
- Minimum multi-engine land time: 1500 hours
- Minimum total time in type: 250 hours
- Minimum PIC time in type: 250 hours
Furthermore, candidates are expected to reside within a two-hour call-out time of their assigned home base or demonstrate a willingness to relocate accordingly.
