Jet Linx Aviation is actively recruiting qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) candidates for its midsize jet aircraft operations, encompassing both Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. Prospective candidates are expected to reside within a two-hour call-out radius of their assigned home base or be willing to relocate accordingly.
The Pilot in Command (PIC) holds a direct reporting relationship to the Base Chief Pilot. This critical role is responsible for the meticulous preparation and safe, efficient operation of company aircraft in strict adherence to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and established company procedures.
- Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
- Total Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2,000 hours
- Total Time in Aircraft Type: 250 hours
- Total PIC Time in Aircraft Type: 250 hours
- Total Multi-Engine Flight Time: 1,500 hours
- Total Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Total Turbine Flight Time: 500 hours
- Total Instrument Flight Time: 300 hours
- Manages duty, flight, and rest periods to comply with both company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations (CFRs).
- Maintains continuous communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position updates, and comprehensive pre- and post-flight reports.
- Responsible for the upkeep and management of Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and associated applications.
- Ensures all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current and readily accessible.
- Maintains a valid, current First-Class Medical Certificate.
- Demonstrates strong, proactive decision-making capabilities in all operational scenarios.
- Embodies and upholds Jet Linx's core values in all professional interactions.
- Completion of initial or recurrent 142 training in the specific aircraft type within the last 24 months is highly preferred.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a U.S. driver's license.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Possession of a current passport.
- ATP certificate or the demonstrated ability to obtain an ATP certificate.
- Valid First-Class Medical Certificate.
- Current FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and adhere to random drug and alcohol testing protocols as required.
- Unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to provide and pass a FAA Pilot Record Database (PRD) review conducted by a System Chief Pilot.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs dictate.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience is required.
- The majority of work is conducted in and around aircraft and associated terminal facilities.
- Capability to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
Jet Linx Aviation provides a competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package for its team members. The starting base annual salary for this position ranges from $145,000 to $200,000. The final base salary offered is contingent upon factors including geographic location, specific aircraft type operated, relevant educational background, training certifications, and overall experience of the candidate. The robust benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a 6% company match, paid time off, and company-paid life insurance and short-term disability coverage.
