Jet Linx is actively recruiting highly qualified Pilot in Command candidates to operate their light jet aircraft under Part 91 flight operations. The successful candidate will be expected to reside within a one-hour call-out radius of their designated home base or demonstrate a willingness to relocate. Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot, the Pilot in Command is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and regulatory-compliant operation of company aircraft. This role demands meticulous preparation, adherence to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), and strict compliance with all company procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
- Total Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2,000 hours
- Total Time in Citation M2 (Type): 250 hours
- Total PIC Time in Citation M2 (Type): 250 hours
- Total Multi-Engine Flight Time: 1,500 hours
- Total Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Total Turbine Flight Time: 500 hours
- Total Instrument Flight Time: 300 hours
Essential Functions
- Proactively manage duty, flight, and rest periods to comply with company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Maintain constant and clear communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position updates, and pre- and post-flight reporting.
- Effectively manage and maintain the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and associated applications.
- Ensure all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current and readily accessible.
- Possess and maintain a current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
- Exhibit strong, proactive decision-making capabilities in all operational scenarios.
- Consistently demonstrate and embody Jet Linx's core values in all professional interactions.
Additional Requirements
- Preference for recent (within 24 months) Initial or Recurrent 142 training in the Citation M2 (CE525S).
- CE525S type experience is mandatory.
- Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Driver's License.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.
- Possess a current passport for international travel.
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate or the ability to obtain one.
- Valid FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
- Possess a current FCC Restricted Radio Operator Permit.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and participate in random drug and alcohol testing as required.
- Unrestricted authorization for travel to Canada and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to provide and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review facilitated by a System Chief Pilot.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs dictate.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
- Work is primarily conducted in and around aircraft and airport terminal environments.
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Compensation and Benefits
Jet Linx offers a highly competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package. The starting base annual salary for this position ranges from $165,000 to $200,000. The final base salary will be determined based on geographic location, aircraft size (crew positions), educational background, training, and professional experience.
