Job Summary
Jet Linx is actively recruiting experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) candidates to join its esteemed team, operating midsize jet aircraft for both Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. The ideal candidate will reside within a two-hour call-out radius of their designated home base or demonstrate a willingness to relocate. The Pilot in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and is responsible for the safe, legal, and efficient operation of company aircraft in strict adherence to Federal Aviation Regulations and established company procedures.
Minimum Flight Experience Requirements
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Total Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2000 hours
- Total Time in Lear 75 Type: 250 hours
- Total PIC Time in Lear 75 Type: 250 hours
- Total Multi-Engine Flight Time: 1500 hours
- Total Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Total Turbine Flight Time: 500 hours
- Total Instrument Flight Time: 300 hours
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Meticulously manage duty, flight, and rest times to comply with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Maintain consistent and clear communication with company operations regarding standby duty, trip notifications, position updates, and pre/post-flight reporting.
- Effectively manage and maintain Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and associated applications.
- Ensure all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current and readily accessible.
- Maintain a current and valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Demonstrate strong, proactive decision-making capabilities in all flight-related scenarios.
- Uphold and embody Jet Linx's core values in all professional interactions and conduct.
Additional Qualifications and Requirements
- Completion of initial or recurrent 142 training in the Lear 75 type within the past 24 months is highly preferred.
- Possession of a valid U.S. driver's license or the ability to obtain one.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Valid U.S. Passport.
- Airline Transportation Pilot (ATP) certificate or the demonstrated ability to obtain one.
- Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Valid FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and to submit to random drug and alcohol testing as required.
- Unrestricted authorization to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to successfully release and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database (PRD) review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs dictate.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience is required.
- The majority of work will be performed in and around aircraft and associated airport terminals.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Compensation and Benefits
Jet Linx offers a highly competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package to its valued team members. The starting base annual salary for this Pilot in Command position ranges from $145,000 to $200,000. The final base salary offered will be determined by various factors including geographic location, aircraft size and associated crew positions, relevant education, training, and the candidate's overall experience.
