Experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) - Midsize Jet Operations (Part 91/135)
A distinguished and rapidly growing aviation organization is actively seeking highly qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Pilot in Command (PIC) on its Midsize Jet fleet. The successful candidate will be responsible for safe and efficient operations under both Part 91 and demanding Part 135 regulatory environments.
Core Responsibilities and Operational Duties
The Pilot in Command must demonstrate exceptional professionalism, commitment to safety, and strict adherence to established operational standards. Key duties include:
- Ensuring the utmost safety and security of all passengers, crew, and aircraft throughout all phases of flight.
- Maintaining meticulous management of duty, flight, and rest periods, ensuring strict adherence to both organizational policies and applicable regulatory standards (CFRs).
- Effectively maintaining continuous communication with company dispatch regarding standby duty assignments, immediate trip notifications, real-time aircraft position calls, and timely submission of comprehensive pre- and post-flight reports.
- Upholding the highest standards of airmanship and compliance with all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Minimum Qualifications and Flight Experience
Candidates must possess the requisite experience and be prepared to meet stringent operational demands. Verification of the following minimum flight hours is mandatory:
- Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2,000 hours
- Multi-Engine Land Time: 1,500 hours
- Total Time in Type: 250 hours
- PIC Time in Type: 250 hours
Base Location and Relocation Requirements
The organization places a high priority on operational readiness. It is a mandatory requirement that the selected Pilot in Command candidate either currently resides within, or is willing to promptly relocate to, an area that provides a maximum 2-hour call-out time from the designated home base airport.
