Heavy Jet Pilot in Command (PIC)
Part 91 and 135 Operations
The organization is actively seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) to operate its heavy jet aircraft fleet. This critical aviation role involves executing safe, efficient, and professional flight operations in accordance with both Part 91 and Part 135 regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate exhibits exceptional airmanship, rigorous attention to detail, and comprehensive operational knowledge.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as Pilot in Command for all assigned domestic and international flight operations.
- Rigorously manage duty, flight, and rest times to ensure strict adherence to both company policies and all applicable Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs).
- Maintain proactive and effective communication with Flight Operations, including timely reporting for standby duty assignments, prompt acknowledgement of trip notifications, accurate position reporting, and the thorough submission of pre-flight and post-flight reports.
Minimum Flight Experience Requirements
Candidates must meet or exceed the following documented flight time requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
- Total Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2,000 hours
- Minimum Multi-Engine Land Time: 1,500 hours
- Total Time in Type: 250 hours
- Total PIC Time in Type: 250 hours
Operational Readiness and Logistics
The successful candidate is required to live, or be willing to relocate, within a two-hour call-out radius of the designated home base to ensure optimal operational readiness.
