Heavy Jet Pilot in Command | Domestic & International Operations (Part 91 & 135)

The organization is actively seeking highly qualified and experienced candidates for the critical position of Heavy Jet Pilot in Command (PIC). This role requires a commitment to excellence and professionalism while executing demanding Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. The successful candidate will ensure the highest standards of safety, compliance, and efficiency throughout all flight profiles.

Essential Pilot in Command Responsibilities

The Pilot in Command holds full authority and responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of assigned heavy jet aircraft. Key responsibilities include:

  • Meticulous management of all duty, flight, and rest periods, ensuring strict adherence to both company policies and the requirements set forth in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs).
  • Maintaining proactive and professional communication with the company's flight department regarding operational status.
  • Prompt reporting for standby duty assignments and acknowledging trip notifications.
  • Executing precise position calls and submitting comprehensive pre-flight and post-flight reports.

Minimum Experience and Flight Hour Qualifications

Prospective candidates must meet the following stringent flight hour requirements, verified by logbook documentation:

Experience Metric Minimum Hours Required
Total Time 3,500 hours
Total Pilot in Command (PIC) Time 2,000 hours
Minimum Multi-Engine Land Time 1,500 hours
Total Time in Type 250 hours
Pilot in Command Time in Type 250 hours

Operational Requirements

A critical prerequisite for this position is the ability to meet time-sensitive operational demands. The Pilot in Command must currently reside, or be willing to relocate, within a two-hour call-out radius of the designated home base to ensure optimal operational readiness and response capability.
