Jet Linx, a premier provider in private and business aviation, is actively seeking highly qualified and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) candidates to join its dedicated flight crew operating midsize jet aircraft, specifically the Cessna Citation XLS/XLS+. The successful candidate will support demanding Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. Applicants must currently reside in, or be prepared to relocate to, an area that ensures adherence to a mandatory two-hour call-out time from the designated home base.
Position Summary
The Pilot in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot. The PIC holds ultimate responsibility for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of all assigned company aircraft. This requires the preparation and execution of flights strictly in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs/CFRs) and all established company procedures.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
The PIC is tasked with performing the following core operational duties:
- Rigorously manage flight, duty, and rest times to meet the requirements set forth by both the company and governing Federal Aviation Regulations (CFRs).
- Maintain consistent and proactive communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position reports, and the timely submission of pre- and post-flight reports.
- Manage and maintain the integrity and currency of all Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and software applications.
- Ensure that all navigation charts, aeronautical publications, and company operational manuals are current and readily accessible for reference.
- Maintain a current First Class Medical Certificate at all times.
- Convey strong, effective, and proactive decision-making skills during all phases of flight and ground operations.
- Consistently demonstrate and uphold Jet Linx’s core values in all professional interactions with clients, crew members, and ground staff.

Additional Requirements
- Possession of, or the ability to obtain, an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- Possession of a current First Class Medical Certificate.
- Possession of an FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license.
- Must possess a current passport.
- The candidate must provide proof of eligibility to work legally within the United States.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and willingness to submit to random drug and alcohol testing when required.
- Unrestricted ability to travel internationally, including to Canada and Caribbean nations.
- The candidate must authorize the release of their FAA Pilot Record Database for review by a System Chief Pilot.
- The role requires flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience is required.
- The majority of duties involve working in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
- Physical capacity to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have completed Initial or Recurrent 142 training in the type aircraft within the last 24 months.

The starting base annual salary for this Pilot in Command position ranges from $145,000 to $200,000. The actual base salary awarded is dependent upon the candidate's geographic location, specific aircraft size (crew positions), and the relevant education, training, and experience documented by the applicant.
