Jet Linx, a leading private aviation company, is actively seeking highly qualified and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) candidates to operate its Citation Latitude super midsize jet aircraft. This full-time position, based in Teterboro, NJ, involves conducting safe and efficient flight operations under both Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 91 and Part 135 regulations. Ideal candidates will reside within, or be willing to relocate to, a two-hour call-out radius of the Teterboro base.
Position Overview
The Pilot in Command holds a critical role, reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot. This professional is entrusted with the paramount responsibility of preparing and executing the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, strictly adhering to all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and established company procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3,500 hours Total Flight Time
- 2,000 hours Total Pilot in Command (PIC) Time
- 250 hours PIC in Type (Citation Latitude preferred)
- 1,000 hours Multi-Engine Time
- 500 hours Multi-Engine PIC Time
- 1,000 hours Turbine Time
- 1,000 hours Total Turbine PIC Time
- 300 hours Total Instrument Time
- 1,500 hours Total Jet Time
- 500 hours Total Jet PIC Time
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively manages and complies with all duty, flight, and rest time requirements as mandated by company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations (CFRs).
- Maintains consistent and clear communication with company operations regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and accurate pre- and post-flight reports.
- Proficiently maintains and manages Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and associated applications, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Verifies that all navigation charts, aviation publications, and company manuals are current and readily accessible for all flight operations.
- Holds and maintains a valid FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
- Exhibits strong, proactive, and sound decision-making skills, especially in dynamic operational environments.

Additional Requirements and Expectations
- Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate or the ability to obtain one.
- A current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
- An FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and comply with random drug/alcohol testing as required.
- Unrestricted eligibility for international travel to countries including the EU, Canada, and Caribbean nations.
- Consent to and successful completion of an FAA Pilot Record Database (PRD) review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as operational demands dictate.
- Possession of a current U.S. Driver's License.
- Proof of eligibility to work within the United States.
- A valid, current passport.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience is required.
- Ability to frequently move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Work environment predominantly in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
- Initial or recurrent FAA Part 142 training in the Citation Latitude type rating within the last 24 months is highly preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

The starting base annual salary for this Pilot in Command position ranges from $160,000 to $245,000, with the actual salary determined by factors such as geographic location, aircraft size, crew position, and the candidate's relevant education, training, and experience.
