Pilot in Command (PIC) - Super Midsize Jet Captain
Part 91 and Part 135 Flight Operations
The organization is currently seeking highly qualified and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) candidates to operate its Super Midsize jet aircraft fleet. This demanding role supports both Part 91 (Non-Commercial) and Part 135 (Commercial Charter) flight operations, requiring the utmost commitment to safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
The Captain is responsible for the comprehensive management of all aspects of flight execution, ensuring the highest standards of safety and professionalism are maintained. Essential duties include:
- Ensuring the safe conduct of all assigned flights in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Meticulously managing duty, flight, and rest times, ensuring strict compliance with both company mandates and all applicable Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs).
- Maintaining continuous professional communication with the operational control center regarding standby duty assignments, immediate trip notifications, real-time position reports, and thorough pre-flight and post-flight documentation.
- Upholding the highest level of crew coordination and passenger service throughout all phases of operation.
Minimum Qualifications and Flight Experience
Prospective candidates must satisfy the following minimum flight time requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2,000 hours
- Total Multi-Engine Land Time: 1,000 hours
- Pilot in Command Time in Type: 250 hours
Operational Requirements
The successful applicant is expected to live within, or be willing to relocate to, an area that ensures a maximum 2-hour call-out time from the designated home base. Relocation assistance may be available.
