Pilot in Command – Citation Latitude

Jet Linx invites applications for a highly qualified and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) to operate its Super Midsize Citation Latitude aircraft. This full-time position is based in Teterboro, New Jersey, and is integral to the company's Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. The successful candidate will be expected to reside or relocate within a two-hour call-out radius of the Teterboro home base.
Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot, the Pilot in Command is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of company aircraft. This role ensures all flights adhere strictly to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and established company procedures, upholding the highest standards of aviation safety and professionalism.
Minimum Requirements
Prospective candidates must meet the following flight experience criteria:
- Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
- Total Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2,000 hours
- PIC in Type (Citation Latitude or similar Super Midsize Jet): 250 hours
- Multi-Engine Time: 1,000 hours
- Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Turbine Time: 1,000 hours
- Total Turbine PIC Time: 1,000 hours
- Total Instrument Time: 300 hours
- Total Jet Time: 1,500 hours
- Total Jet PIC Time: 500 hours
Essential Functions
The Pilot in Command will perform the following essential duties:
- Manage flight, duty, and rest periods in strict accordance with company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations (CFRs).
- Maintain consistent communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position reports, and comprehensive pre- and post-flight documentation.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and management of Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
- Verify the currency of all required navigation charts, publications, and company manuals.
- Hold and maintain a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Exhibit robust and proactive decision-making capabilities in all operational scenarios.
- Consistently embody and demonstrate Jet Linx’s core values in every interaction and operational aspect.
Additional Requirements & Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience is required.
- A current Air Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate, or the ability to obtain one, is essential.
- Possession of a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate and an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Candidates should possess a valid U.S. driver's license, proof of eligibility to work in the U.S., and a current passport.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and consent to random drug and alcohol testing as required.
- Unrestricted travel capability to all European Union, Canadian, and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to successfully complete an FAA Pilot Record Database (PRD) review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as operational demands dictate.
- Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in type within the last 24 months is highly preferred.
- The role primarily involves work in and around aircraft and airport terminals, requiring the ability to move up to 50 pounds frequently.
Compensation and Benefits
Jet Linx offers a highly competitive compensation and benefits package. The starting base annual salary for this Pilot in Command position ranges from $160,000 to $245,000, with the actual salary determined by geographic location, aircraft size, crew position, and the candidate's relevant education, training, and experience.
