Pilot in Command - Midsize Jet Aircraft
Jet Linx, a premier private aviation company, is actively seeking highly qualified and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) candidates for its Midsize Jet fleet. This pivotal role supports Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Successful candidates must reside, or be willing to relocate, within a two-hour call-out radius of their designated home base.
Position Overview
The Pilot in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and is responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of company aircraft. This includes strict adherence to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and established company procedures, maintaining operational excellence in all flight phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages duty, flight, and rest times in strict compliance with company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations (CFRs).
- Maintains consistent and proactive communication with company operations regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position reports, and comprehensive pre- and post-flight documentation.
- Effectively manages and maintains Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and associated applications, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Verifies the currency and accuracy of all required navigation charts, publications, and company manuals.
- Maintains a current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
- Exhibits strong, proactive, and decisive decision-making skills throughout all operational phases.

Minimum Qualifications
- Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate or the immediate ability to obtain one.
- Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
- Minimum 3,500 hours Total Time.
- Minimum 2,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) time.
- Minimum 250 hours Total Time in Type.
- Minimum 250 hours PIC Time in Type.
- Minimum 1,500 hours Multi-Engine time.
- Minimum 500 hours Multi-Engine PIC time.
- Minimum 500 hours Total Turbine time.
- Minimum 300 hours Total Instrument time.
Desired Qualifications & Additional Requirements
- Initial or recurrent FAA Part 142 training in type completed within the last 24 months is strongly preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. driver's license.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Possession of a current, valid passport.
- Possession of an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and consent to random drug and alcohol testing as required.
- Unrestricted ability to travel internationally, including to Canada and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to successfully complete an FAA Pilot Record Database (PRD) review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience is required.
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working predominantly within aircraft and aircraft terminal environments.
