About Jet Linx and the Role

Jet Linx is actively seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) for its Midsize jet aircraft fleet, specifically the Citation XLS/XLS+. This pivotal full-time position supports both Part 91 and 135 flight operations and is based in Dallas, Texas. The successful candidate is expected to reside within a two-hour call-out radius of the Dallas base or demonstrate a willingness to relocate accordingly.

Position Summary

Reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot, the Pilot in Command bears primary responsibility for preparing and executing the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft. This includes strict adherence to all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and established company procedures, ensuring operational excellence and safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Effectively manage duty, flight, and rest times in full compliance with both company regulations and Federal Aviation Regulations (CFRs).
Maintain consistent and timely communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and the submission of comprehensive pre- and post-flight reports.
Ensure the proper maintenance and management of Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and applications, keeping all systems updated and operational.
Verify that all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current, accurate, and readily accessible for all flights.
Uphold and maintain a current First Class Medical Certificate.
Demonstrate strong, proactive decision-making skills in all operational scenarios, prioritizing safety and efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

Prospective candidates must meet the following minimum flight experience requirements:

Total Time: 3500 hours
Total Pilot in Command (PIC): 2000 hours
Total Time in Type (Citation XLS/XLS+): 250 hours
Total PIC Time in Type (Citation XLS/XLS+): 250 hours
Total Multi-Engine: 1500 hours
Total Multi-Engine PIC: 500 hours
Total Turbine: 500 hours
Total Instrument: 300 hours

Required Certifications, Licenses, and Conditions:

Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate or the ability to obtain one.
A current First Class Medical Certificate.
An FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
A current, valid passport.
Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license.
Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and consent to random drug/alcohol testing as required by regulations.
Unrestricted ability to travel internationally, including to Canada and Caribbean countries.
Ability to release and successfully pass a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in the Citation XLS/XLS+ type within the last 24 months.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

The majority of work is conducted in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
Ability to move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as operational demands require.

Compensation and Benefits

Jet Linx offers a highly competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package to its valued team members. The starting annual base salary for this Pilot in Command position ranges from $145,000 to $200,000. The actual base salary will be determined based on various factors, including geographic location, aircraft size (relevant to crew positions), and the candidate's relevant education, training, and experience.
