Pilot in Command (PIC) - Midsize Jet
Jet Linx, a premier private aviation company, is actively seeking highly qualified and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) candidates for its Midsize jet fleet. This pivotal role involves conducting safe and efficient Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. Candidates must either reside within a two-hour call-out radius of their assigned home base or demonstrate a willingness to relocate accordingly.
Position Summary
The Pilot in Command (PIC) operates under the direct supervision of the Base Chief Pilot. The primary responsibility of the PIC is to meticulously prepare for and ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of company aircraft, adhering strictly to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and established company procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Total Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2000 hours
- Total Time in Type: 250 hours
- Total PIC Time in Type: 250 hours
- Total Multi-Engine Time: 1500 hours
- Total Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Total Turbine Time: 500 hours
- Total Instrument Time: 300 hours
Essential Functions
- Manages duty, flight, and rest times in strict compliance with both company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations (CFRs).
- Maintains consistent and effective communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and comprehensive pre- and post-flight reports.
- Routinely manages and maintains Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and associated applications, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Verifies the currency of all required navigation charts, aviation publications, and company operational manuals.
- Possesses and maintains a current FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate.
- Consistently demonstrates robust, proactive decision-making capabilities.
- Embodies and upholds Jet Linx's core values in all professional interactions and operational activities.
Other Requirements
- Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. driver's license.
- Proof of legal eligibility to work in the United States.
- Possession of a current, valid passport.
- Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate or the ability to obtain one.
- Current FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate.
- Possession of an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and consent to random drug and alcohol testing as required by regulations.
- Unrestricted eligibility for international travel, including to Canada and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to authorize and successfully complete a review of their FAA Pilot Record Database (PRD) by a System Chief Pilot.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
- Work primarily conducted within and around aircraft and airport terminals.
- Capable of frequently lifting and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Compensation
Jet Linx is committed to offering a highly competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package to its valued team members. The starting base annual salary for the Pilot in Command position ranges from $145,000 to $200,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors including geographic location, assigned aircraft size and crew position, and the candidate's education, training, and experience.
