Pilot in Command – Lear 60 (Full-Time)

Jet Linx is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) for its Lear 60 midsize jet aircraft. This full-time position supports Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations based in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will reside within, or be willing to relocate to, a 2-hour call-out radius of the designated home base.
Position Summary:
The Pilot in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot. This critical role is responsible for the preparation and execution of safe and efficient company aircraft operations, ensuring strict adherence to all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and established company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
The Pilot in Command's essential functions include, but are not limited to:
- Managing duty, flight, and rest times in compliance with both company regulations and Federal Aviation Regulations (CFRs).
- Maintaining consistent communication with the company for standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and comprehensive pre- and post-flight reports.
- Proficiently maintaining and managing Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
- Ensuring the currency and accuracy of all navigation charts, aviation publications, and company manuals.
- Upholding a current 1st Class medical certificate at all times.
- Demonstrating strong, proactive decision-making skills during all phases of flight and ground operations.
- Consistently embodying Jet Linx’s core values in all professional interactions and duties.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess the following flight experience:
- Total Time: 3,500 hours
- Total Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2,000 hours
- Total Time in Type (Lear 60): 250 hours
- Total PIC Time in Type (Lear 60): 250 hours
- Total Multi-Engine Time: 1,500 hours
- Total Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Total Turbine Time: 500 hours
- Total Instrument Time: 300 hours
Additional Requirements:
- Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate, or the ability to obtain one.
- A current 1st Class Medical Certificate.
- An FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Initial or Recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. driver's license.
- Proof of eligibility to work legally in the U.S.
- Possession of a current passport with unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and submit to random drug/alcohol testing as required.
- Ability to authorize and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- The majority of work is completed in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
- Ability to frequently move up to 50 pounds.
Compensation and Benefits:
Jet Linx offers a highly competitive compensation and benefits package to its team members. The starting base annual salary for this Pilot in Command position ranges from $145,000 to $200,000. The actual base salary provided is dependent upon geographic location, aircraft size (crew positions), and the candidate's relevant education, training, and experience.
