Pilot in Command – Lear 75
Jet Linx is seeking a qualified and experienced Pilot in Command for its Midsize jet aircraft to conduct Part 91 and 135 flight operations. This is a full-time position based in Minneapolis, MN. The successful candidate is expected to reside, or be willing to relocate, within a two-hour call-out time of the Minneapolis base.
Reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot, the Pilot in Command is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, adhering to all Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
Essential Functions:
- Manages duty, flight, and rest times according to company and CFR requirements.
- Maintains consistent communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports.
- Maintains and manages electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
- Ensures that all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current.
- Maintains a current 1st Class medical certificate.
- Demonstrates strong and proactive decision-making skills.
- Exemplifies Jet Linx’s core values in all interactions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2000 hours
- Total Time in Type: 250 hours
- PIC Time in Type: 250 hours
- Total Multi-Engine Time: 1500 hours
- Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Total Turbine Time: 500 hours
- Total Instrument Time: 300 hours
Other Requirements:
- Initial or Recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Current passport.
- ATP certification (or ability to obtain).
- 1st Class Medical certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and comply with random drug/alcohol testing as required.
- Unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to successfully complete an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Ability to move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
- The majority of work is completed in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
