Pilot in Command – Lear 75
Jet Linx is seeking a qualified and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Lear 75 aircraft, based in Minneapolis, MN, to support its Part 91 and 135 flight operations. The successful candidate will either reside within a two-hour call-out time of the base or be willing to relocate.
The Pilot in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, ensuring compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
Position Summary
The Pilot in Command (PIC) reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot. The PIC prepares and ensures the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with the Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2000 hours
- Time in Type (Lear 75): 250 hours
- PIC Time in Type (Lear 75): 250 hours
- Multi-Engine Time: 1500 hours
- Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Turbine Time: 500 hours
- Instrument Time: 300 hours
Essential Functions:
- Manages duty, flight, and rest times in accordance with company policies and CFRs.
- Maintains consistent communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position reports, and pre- and post-flight reports.
- Maintains and manages electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
- Ensures navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current and up-to-date.
- Maintains a current 1st Class medical certificate.
- Exhibits strong and proactive decision-making skills.
- Demonstrates Jet Linx’s core values in all interactions.
Other Requirements:
- Initial or Recurrent 142 training in the Lear 75 within the last 24 months is preferred.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Current passport.
- ATP (Airline Transport Pilot Certificate) or ability to obtain.
- 1st Class Medical Certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug/alcohol testing as required.
- Unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- The majority of work is completed in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
- Ability to move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
