Job Overview
Jet Linx is actively recruiting experienced Pilot in Command candidates for its light jet aircraft fleet, specifically the Beechjet 400A. This full-time role supports both Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. A key expectation for candidates is the ability to manage multiple non-stop, direct flights to Denver on a daily basis.
Position Summary
The Pilot in Command (PIC) operates under the direct supervision of the Base Chief Pilot. The primary responsibility of the PIC is to prepare for and ensure the safe, efficient operation of company aircraft in strict compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and established company procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
- Total Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2,000 hours
- Total Time in Aircraft Type (Beechjet 400A): 250 hours
- Total PIC Time in Aircraft Type (Beechjet 400A): 250 hours
- Total Multi-Engine Time: 1,500 hours
- Total Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Total Turbine Time: 500 hours
- Total Instrument Time: 300 hours
Essential Functions
- Meticulously manage duty, flight, and rest periods to comply with all company and Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Maintain consistent and clear communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position updates, and pre- and post-flight reports.
- Proficiently manage and maintain Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and associated applications.
- Ensure all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current and readily accessible.
- Maintain a current and valid First Class Medical Certificate.
- Exhibit strong, proactive decision-making capabilities in all operational contexts.
- Embody and demonstrate Jet Linx's core values in all professional interactions.
Additional Requirements
- Completion of initial or recurrent 142 training in the Beechjet 400A within the last 24 months is preferred.
- Possess the ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license.
- Provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Hold a current passport.
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate, or the ability to obtain one.
- Valid First Class Medical Certificate.
- Current FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and submit to random drug and alcohol testing as required.
- Unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to successfully complete and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database (PRD) review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- The majority of the work environment involves direct interaction with aircraft and aircraft terminals.
- Capability to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
Compensation and Benefits
Jet Linx is pleased to offer a competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package to its team members. The starting base annual salary for this Pilot in Command position ranges from $140,000 to $182,500. The final base salary will be determined based on the candidate's geographic location, aircraft type and crew position, relevant education, training, and overall experience.
