Pilot in Command – Challenger 604/605
Full-Time Position – Miami, FL
Jet Linx seeks a highly qualified Pilot in Command for its heavy jet aircraft, operating under Part 91 and 135 flight regulations. The ideal candidate resides, or is willing to relocate within a two-hour radius of the Miami base.
Position Summary:
The Pilot in Command (PIC) reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot. This role encompasses the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, adhering strictly to Federal Aviation Regulations and established company procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Total PIC Time: 2000 hours
- Challenger 604/605 Type Time: 250 hours
- Challenger 604/605 PIC Time: 250 hours
- Multi-Engine Time: 1500 hours
- Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Turbine Time: 500 hours
- Instrument Time: 300 hours
Essential Functions:
- Meticulous adherence to company and CFR-mandated duty, flight, and rest times.
- Maintaining consistent communication with the company regarding standby assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reporting.
- Proficient management and maintenance of electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
- Ensuring all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals remain current.
- Maintaining a valid First-Class medical certificate.
- Demonstrating strong, proactive decision-making capabilities.
- Embodying and upholding Jet Linx's core values in all professional interactions.
Additional Requirements:
- Completion of initial or recurrent 142 type rating training within the last 24 months is preferred.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Current passport.
- ATP certificate (or eligibility to obtain one).
- First-Class Medical Certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and willingness to participate in random drug/alcohol testing.
- Unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canadian, and Caribbean countries.
- Successful completion of a FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds. The majority of work is conducted in and around aircraft and terminals.
