Pilot in Command - Gulfstream G200
Jet Linx is seeking highly qualified and experienced Pilot in Command candidates to join its Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations based at Dekalb-Peachtree Airport (PDK) in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate is expected to reside or be willing to relocate within a two-hour call-out time of the home base.
Position Summary:
The Pilot in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in strict adherence to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company procedures.
Minimum Flight Hour Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Total PIC: 2000 hours
- Total PIC in Type (Gulfstream G200): 250 hours
- Multi-Engine: 1000 hours
- Multi-Engine PIC: 500 hours
- Turbine Time: 1000 hours
- Total Turbine PIC: 1000 hours
- Total Instrument: 300 hours
- Total Jet: 1500 hours
- Total Jet PIC: 500 hours
Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Efficiently manage duty, flight, and rest periods in compliance with both company policies and CFR requirements.
- Maintain consistent communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position reporting, and completion of pre- and post-flight reports.
- Effectively manage and maintain electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and software applications.
- Ensure the currency of all required navigation charts, aeronautical publications, and company manuals.
- Possess and maintain a current First Class Medical Certificate.
- Exhibit strong, proactive decision-making capabilities in all operational contexts.
- Uphold and demonstrate Jet Linx’s core values in every interaction.
Required Qualifications and Preferences:
- Current Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate or the ability to obtain one.
- Valid First Class Medical Certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a U.S. driver's license.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- A current passport permitting unrestricted travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and submit to random drug and alcohol testing as required.
- Ability to authorize and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- Initial or recurrent 142 training in the Gulfstream G200 aircraft type within the last 24 months is strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Work is primarily performed within and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Compensation and Benefits:
Jet Linx offers a competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package to its team members. The starting base annual salary for this Pilot in Command position ranges from $160,000 to $245,000, depending on factors such as geographic location, aircraft size/crew position, and the candidate's relevant education, training, and experience. The benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a 6% company match, paid time off, and company-paid life and short-term disability coverage.
