Position Overview

Clay Lacy Aviation is seeking an experienced Part 91 Global 7500 Captain to join its team based in Camarillo, California (KCMA). This is a pivotal full-time position designed for a skilled pilot who demonstrates a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and delivering exceptional service. The operation involves approximately 350 flight hours annually under Part 91 regulations. While priority is given to candidates holding a Global 7500 type rating, exceptionally qualified Pilots in Command (PIC) without the specific type rating may be considered.

Key Responsibilities

The Global 7500 Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft in accordance with all applicable regulations, company manuals, and procedures. Key duties include ensuring compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), the company operations manual, operations specifications, and standard operating procedures. Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Prospective candidates for the Global 7500 Captain position must meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of 3,500 hours of total flight time.
  • A minimum of 2,000 hours of Pilot in Command (PIC) time.
  • A minimum of 1,000 hours of Turbine time.
  • Must possess an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
  • A Type Certification (type rating) for the Global 7500 is preferred, with a minimum of 200 hours in type. However, candidates with extensive and relevant PIC experience who do not hold the type rating may be considered.
  • Must reside within a two-hour drivable commute to KCMA or be willing to relocate to meet this requirement. This position is not structured for commuting.
  • Must have the unrestricted ability to travel internationally, including to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
  • Ability to comply with all Federal Aviation Regulations, company operations manual, operations specifications, standard operating procedures, and company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to successfully pass DOT/FAA required drug screening and background checks, and willingness to submit to random drug and alcohol tests when required.
  • Provision of full, legible, color copies of all FAA certificates (both sides), including Medical, as well as completion of a disclosure form, is required as part of the application process.

Positions in this classification are considered safety-sensitive under DOT/FAA drug and alcohol regulations.

Compensation and Benefits

Clay Lacy Aviation offers a competitive compensation package for the Global 7500 Captain position, with a salary range of $280,000 to $360,000 annually.
