Position Summary:
Elevate Jet is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pilot-in-Command to join its professional flight crew. The Pilot-in-Command, working collaboratively with the Second-in-Command (SIC), assumes responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. This role demands strict adherence to all FAA regulations and Elevate Jet’s General Operations Manual. The successful candidate will function as a dedicated team member in a crew environment, demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities, maintain a strong safety orientation, and embody superior customer service standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform safe and timely flight operations for private VIP Part 135/91 missions.
- Ensure comprehensive aircraft readiness for all scheduled and upcoming trips.
- Maintain continuous and effective communication with flight operations personnel.
- Accurately maintain all required financial and operational records for each flight.
- Cultivate and promote a positive environment that encourages teamwork and inspires crew members to achieve excellence.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must hold a Multi-Engine Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- A Challenger 604/605/650 Type Rating is REQUIRED.
- Minimum of 3500 hours of total flight time.
- Minimum of 2000 hours of multi-engine fixed-wing time.
- Minimum of 250 hours of instrument time.
- Ability to hold a current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
- Must have a record free of any FAA violations, accidents, or incidents.
- Possess a valid Passport.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization to facilitate unrestricted commercial travel to and from Canada.
- Compliance with ICAO Annex I - 2.1.10 as it pertains to aircraft engaged in international commercial air transport operations requiring more than one pilot.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous flight experience operating under FAR Part 135 and/or Part 91 regulations.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent college-level education is preferred.
- Possession of 250 hours time in type (Challenger 604/605/650) is preferred.
Schedule and Travel:
- Schedule rotations are variable and dependent upon the assigned aircraft.
- This position requires 100% travel.
