Experienced Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) - Fixed-Wing Captain Position
A reputable aviation operator seeks highly qualified candidates for the role of Fixed-Wing Captain. The Captain is an essential position responsible for the complete safety and operational integrity of the aircraft and flight.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
The Captain is entrusted with significant operational authority and is expected to:
- Safely operate the aircraft while exercising sound judgment in all phases of flight.
- Determine optimal departure times and routes, and proactively initiate flight cancellation or alteration protocols based on adverse weather, maintenance requirements, or other critical operational conditions.
- Ensure all flight activities are conducted in strict adherence to federal, local, and company regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain operational efficiency while prioritizing the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience
Qualified candidates must meet the following mandatory criteria to be considered for this Captain role:
- Must possess a valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with the appropriate Aircraft Type Rating.
- Must successfully obtain and consistently maintain a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Total Fixed-Wing Flight Hours: A minimum of 3,500 hours.
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Hours: A minimum of 1,500 hours.
- Multi-Engine Land Flight Hours: A minimum of 1,500 hours.
