Pilot in Command - Gulfstream G600/G500/G650

About the Role
This individual will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of all flight assignments, prioritizing safety, security, and quality at all times. Reporting to the Lead Captain, the Pilot in Command will uphold company operating procedures and exercise final authority for the safe conduct of all assigned flights.
Minimum Requirements
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with a G600/G500 or G650 type rating
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- 6000 hours Total Fixed Wing flight time
- 1500 hours Multi-Engine Land experience
- 3000 hours Pilot-in-Command experience
- 1500 hours Turbojet experience
- Flexibility to work varied schedules
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively worldwide without restriction
- Residence within a 2-hour drive of KISP or willingness to relocate
- Valid driver's license
- No FAA violations
Key Responsibilities
- Safe aircraft operation, including determining departure times, routes, and flight cancellations based on weather and other factors
- Ensuring flight operations adhere to all federal, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures
- Implementing necessary adjustments during flight to maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations
- Conducting flights safely and prudently, in line with industry and company standards
- Accurate and timely completion of all flight paperwork according to established procedures
- Effectively communicating and collaborating with the Second in Command on all aspects of the flight
- Identifying and documenting aircraft discrepancies, reporting them to the Director of Maintenance, and determining necessary actions based on the MEL
- Ensuring flight crew adherence to dress code and confirming their mental and physical fitness for duty
- Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of all aircraft systems, including emergency systems and procedures, for authorized aircraft types
- Securing the aircraft after each flight, including arranging hangar storage as needed or directed
- Obtaining and analyzing current weather reports, forecasts, and NOTAMs from authorized sources
- Filing or coordinating flight plans with the FAA or ICAO state ATC facilities
- Thoroughly reviewing area, enroute, and terminal charts for intended landing airports and alternates
- Performing the duties of the In TSA Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) under relevant security programs (Twelve Five Standard Security Program or Private Charter Standard Security Program)
- Conducting or delegating passenger safety briefings
- Providing guidance and training to the Second in Command to prepare them for potential Pilot in Command duties
- Actively participating in safety initiatives, reporting all safety hazards and concerns, and promptly reporting any hazardous actions, conduct, or events to the Chief Pilot and Director of Safety
- Understanding that while certain duties may be delegated, the ultimate responsibility for those duties remains with the Pilot in Command
- Performing other duties as assigned
