Airline Transport Pilot - Flight Operations
Position Overview
The Airline Transport Pilot is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft. This role involves making critical decisions regarding flight schedules, routes, and potential cancellations due to weather or other operational factors. Ensuring strict adherence to all federal, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures is paramount.
Minimum Qualifications
- Possession of a valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with the appropriate aircraft type rating.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- A minimum of 4,000 hours of total flight time in fixed-wing aircraft.
- A minimum of 1,500 hours of multi-engine land aircraft experience.
- A minimum of 2,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
- A minimum of 1,500 hours of turbojet flight experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company aircraft in accordance with all established protocols.
- Determine optimal departure times and flight routes, considering all relevant operational factors.
- Assess weather conditions and other environmental factors to make informed decisions regarding flight departures, diversions, or cancellations.
- Ensure all flights are conducted in complete compliance with all federal, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
