Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate company aircraft in accordance with all established protocols and best practices.
- Execute comprehensive flight planning, including determining optimal departure times, routes, and alternative strategies.
- Make critical, real-time decisions regarding flight continuation, diversion, or cancellation based on prevailing weather conditions, operational parameters, and safety considerations.
- Ensure strict adherence to all federal, local, and company regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintaining the highest standards of aviation safety and professionalism.
Qualifications
Prospective Captains must demonstrate proven experience and hold the following certifications and flight hours:
- Possession of a valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with appropriate aircraft type rating.
- A current FAA First Class Medical Certificate, with the ability to maintain this certification throughout employment.
- Minimum 4,000 hours Total Fixed Wing flight time.
- Minimum 1,500 hours Multi-Engine Land flight time.
- Minimum 2,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
