Key Responsibilities
- Aircraft Operations: Safely operates assigned aircraft in strict accordance with established procedures, company policies, and best practices, ensuring the highest level of flight safety and passenger comfort.
- Flight Planning and Decision-Making: Proactively determines optimal departure times and routes, continuously monitoring and evaluating weather conditions and other operational factors. Exercises sound judgment in making critical in-flight decisions, including the cancellation or alteration of flights when necessary, to maintain safety and compliance.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensures all flight operations are conducted in complete and rigorous compliance with all applicable federal, local, and company regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Maintains thorough documentation as required.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with the appropriate aircraft type rating(s).
- Ability to obtain and consistently maintain a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- A minimum of 4,000 hours of total fixed-wing flight time.
- A minimum of 1,500 hours of multi-engine land flight time.
- A minimum of 2,000 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) flight time.
