Jet Access | G-V Captain

Jet Access is seeking a Captain for a Gulfstream G800 aircraft, based at Nashville International Airport (KJWN). This position is within a Part 135/91 private aviation operation and involves approximately 250 flight hours annually. The Captain will assume command authority, lead the flight crew, ensure operational control, and represent the company to aircraft owners and passengers, while upholding safety standards and providing exceptional client service.

About the Role

The Captain is responsible for establishing the safety, professionalism, and service standard for all assignments. This includes mentoring First Officers, providing constructive feedback, and communicating crew development observations to the Chief Pilot. Key flight responsibilities encompass operating in accordance with the Flight Operations Manual and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), exercising operational control, and making critical go/no-go decisions. The role also involves meticulous flight planning, weather analysis, regulatory compliance, and delivering a premium experience for aircraft owners and passengers. The Captain will manage aircraft and maintenance coordination, ensuring airworthiness, and overseeing logbooks, records, and required servicing. International travel responsibilities include verifying documentation and complying with foreign aviation authority requirements.

Requirements

• Hold an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate, unrestricted or restricted.
• Possess a current First Class Medical Certificate.
• Minimum 5,000 hours of total flying time.
• Minimum 1,500 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
• Minimum 500 hours of Multi-Engine PIC time.
• Minimum 250 hours of PIC time in the Gulfstream G800 aircraft.
• Minimum 250 hours of Turbine PIC time.
• Current experience in heavy Gulfstream aircraft (G500 or above).
• Completed initial or recurrent training on the G800 within the preceding 12 months.
• Working knowledge of FAR Part 135 and Part 91 regulations.
• Valid state driver’s license and passport.
• Proficiency with digital flight planning tools, avionics, and flight applications.
• Successful completion of a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, excellence, and professional development.
• Ability to meet and maintain FAA medical and physical standards for Part 135 PIC operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Part 135 or corporate flight experience with a managed fleet operator.
• Experience mentoring junior pilots.
• Familiarity with Avianis or ForeFlight Dispatch.
• Extensive international and overwater experience.
• Participation in safety management, audit preparation, or fleet standardization initiatives.
