Aviation Captain
Jet Access, a premier provider of private air travel solutions encompassing charter, aircraft management, sales, maintenance, flight training, airport operation, and management, seeks a highly skilled and experienced Aviation Captain. The successful candidate will lead the assigned aircraft flight crew, ensuring all flights adhere to established company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations. The Captain will also oversee the First Officer and provide exceptional service and support to aircraft owners, passengers, and clients.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conducts aircraft operations in accordance with the Flight Operations Manual and Company Manuals.
- Ensures accurate and timely completion of all flight, aircraft, and passenger records.
- Supervises crewmembers in their duties.
- Ensures compliance with flight/duty time limitations and rest periods.
- Maintains current first-class medical certification.
- Reviews Flight/Maintenance Logs to ensure aircraft airworthiness and coordinates with maintenance personnel.
- Oversees preflight, post-flight, and routine aircraft servicing.
- Coordinates client itinerary changes with the Operations Control Center.
- Performs duties of Ground and In-flight Security Coordinators.
- Ensures current manuals, charts, and equipment are onboard.
- Verifies crew and passenger possession of valid travel documents.
- Ensures compliance with international arrival and departure regulations.
- Fosters positive client relations through efficient service.
- Exercises operational control on behalf of the Director of Operations.
- Ensures only authorized personnel manipulate aircraft controls.
- Documents engine trend monitoring data as requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Schedule:
- 17 scheduled duty days per month.
- Optional overtime days may be offered.
- Part 91 owner trips may occur outside of scheduled duty days.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3,000 hours total flying time.
- 1,500 hours total Pilot-In-Command (PIC) time.
- 500 hours multi PIC time.
- 250 hours PIC in Type time.
- 250 Turbine PIC Time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ATP Qualified.
- Working knowledge of FAR Part 135 and Part 91 regulations.
- Thorough knowledge of FAA, ICAO, and other international flight operations regulations.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in word processing, email, and web-based applications.
- Passionate attention to detail and ability to work in a team.
- Well-groomed appearance.
- Valid state driver’s license.
- Successful completion of background check and drug test.
- Ability to read and respond to email communications.
