Bilingual Flight Attendant - Jazz (Vancouver)
Jazz is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bilingual Flight Attendant to join its award-winning team in Vancouver. This is an exciting opportunity to embark on a fulfilling aviation career with Canada's largest regional airline, operating under the Air Canada Express brand.
The Flight Attendant will serve as a brand ambassador for Air Canada and Jazz, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers. He or she will explore new cities across North America during layovers, interacting with passengers from diverse backgrounds, and enjoying travel privileges on the Air Canada network during personal time.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safe and efficient movement of Air Canada and Jazz passengers.
- Provide customer service excellence, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment onboard the aircraft.
- Project a warm, caring, and empathetic professional image.
- Prioritize safety, providing leadership, direction, and assistance to passengers and colleagues.
- Execute all pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight duties in accordance with Canadian Aviation Regulations, IOSA Standards, and Company Standard Operating Procedures and Policies.
- Think critically and make sound decisions in emergency situations.

Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Fluency in English is required; fluency in French is preferred.
- Must possess Canadian citizenship or Permanent Resident status and the ability to travel outside of Canada without restrictions.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of customer service work experience or experience working with the public (e.g., teacher, nurse, administration).
- Must be 6'1" (185 cm) or shorter.
- Must hold a current, valid passport at the time of hire with six (6) months validity.
- If a Permanent Resident, must be able to obtain and maintain crew visa documentation required for travel to the United States.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identification Card (upon employment).
- Once hired, must successfully complete Jazz's Initial Flight Attendant Training Program (approximately 6 weeks in duration).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills are essential.
- Must have a positive attitude and work well unsupervised.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.
