Aurora Jet Partners | G7500 Flight Attendant
Assigned AME, Bombardier Global 7500
Aurora Jet Partners is a growing, innovative aircraft ownership and management company with deep roots in Canadian aviation history, boasting a proven safety record spanning over 40 years. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, the company cultivates a unique and personal work environment that provides excellent growth potential for its staff.
Aurora Jet Partners is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Assigned AME specializing in the Bombardier Global 7500. This pivotal role requires a candidate who possesses at least 10 years of documented Bombardier Global Series maintenance experience, with Vision Flight Deck experience strongly preferred. Ideally, candidates will also have Transport Canada (TC) approved Global 7500 maintenance training.
This is exclusively a remote position, requiring the incumbent to be based away from the company's base. The role necessitates the candidate to be qualified as, and perform duties as, a Cabin Crew Member. Maintenance Management and parts control for the aircraft are expertly administered by Aurora Jet Partners and its Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO). The selected candidate will be expected to uphold strict adherence to AJP Aircraft Crew Manual (ACM) and Aircraft Policies Manual (APM) doctrine. Assigned AME responsibilities for the aircraft are shared with another Aurora Jet Partners AME, with this position holding approximately 75 percent of the assigned duties.
The work schedule for this position is largely predetermined but requires both assigned AMEs to maintain a degree of flexibility. The selected candidate will be required to accompany the aircraft on routine and non-routine "shop visits" as necessary.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this unique role, as the candidate will serve as a key liaison between all internal and external stakeholders, operating significantly on a remote basis.
Aurora Jet Partners values its employees and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
- A competitive base salary
- An hourly per diem rate paid when away from the home base while on duty
- A 5% - 6% company-matched RRSP defined contribution plan, based on years of service
- Three weeks of annual vacation, with increased vacation time off based on years of service
- A comprehensive benefit package covering health, dental, vision, travel medical, life insurance, and short/long-term disability protection
- Access to an employee and family assistance program, wellness accounts, and health care spending accounts.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ten years of documented Bombardier Global Series maintenance experience (Vision Flight Deck experience preferred)
- A Transport Canada (TCCA) AME license in good standing, with no history of suspension or violation
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
- Ability to travel to the USA
- Possession of a valid Provincial Driver's license
- Possession of a valid Passport
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License
Aurora Jet Partners is committed to attracting and retaining diverse employees. The company strives to create and maintain a working environment that is welcoming and promotes diversity of thought, inclusivity, and equity.
