Aircraft Senior Captain

Job Description
This critical role is responsible for ensuring the safety of passengers, crew, and the successful completion of each flight. The Aircraft Senior Captain holds overall command and authority during flights, making crucial decisions, monitoring aircraft systems, and rigorously adhering to aviation regulations and safety standards. The position reports directly to the Chief Pilot and is based out of the Phoenix location. In this role, the Senior Captain significantly impacts passenger and crew safety and comfort, ensuring that every flight is a safe and efficient journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and command the aircraft in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure strict compliance with all aviation regulations and company policies.
- Plan and execute all aspects of flight operations, including comprehensive pre-flight checks, detailed route planning, and precise fuel management.
- Continuously monitor weather conditions and make necessary adjustments to flight plans as required.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with air traffic control and all other relevant parties.
Qualifications
Required:
- Must hold a valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
- Minimum of 2000 hours of total flight experience.
- A minimum of 1000 flight hours of Pilot-In-Command (PIC) experience in turbine-powered aircraft.
- Possess a valid FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Ability to speak and understand the English language to the proficiency level required by ICAO Annex 1.
- Ability to successfully pass a company pre-employment drug screening.
- Ability to successfully pass a background investigation conducted by Honeywell’s Security Department.
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of aviation regulations and safety procedures.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
