Aviation Job Description - Captain and First Officer
Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
This position requires a highly skilled and experienced aviation professional to safely operate and maintain aircraft in accordance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
Captain:
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Hold an Australian ATPL or FAA/EASA equivalent.
- Possess a DHC 6 Type Rating and ELP level 6.
- Have a current Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Demonstrate 3000 total hours of flight time, with at least 2000 hours in command.
- Accumulate a minimum of 500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) of Multi-Engine (M/E) aircraft.
- Hold a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with a Multi-Engine Instrument Rating.
- Be capable of obtaining an Aviation Security Identification Card.
- Provide a current Police Check.
First Officer:
Candidates with or without a DHC 6 Type Rating will be considered.
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Hold an Australian ATPL/CPL or FAA/EASA equivalent.
- Have an ELP level 6.
- Possess a current Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Achieve a minimum of 1000 total hours of flight time.
- Demonstrate 500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
- Accumulate a minimum of 150 hours of experience with Multi-Engine (M/E) aircraft.
- Have 50 hours of experience operating turbine-powered aircraft.
- Be capable of obtaining an Aviation Security Identification Card.
- Provide a current Police Check.
