ASL Airlines United Kingdom is actively accepting applications for the role of Experienced ATR Captain. This position supports essential cargo operations based at East Midlands Airport.
Key Accountabilities:
- Supervises and supports the First Officer, upholding company standards in conduct, appearance, and professional practice. Promotes a cooperative crew environment to ensure optimal performance.
- Champions and implements the company's Safety Management System (SMS), actively contributing to accident prevention initiatives.
- Takes full responsibility for ensuring the safety and security of the aircraft, its occupants, and any property carried, in strict accordance with applicable regulations.
- Ensures rigorous adherence to all operational procedures and checklists as stipulated in the company's Operations Manual.
- Acts decisively in emergency situations requiring immediate action, taking all necessary steps deemed appropriate under the circumstances and in accordance with regulations to safeguard flight safety.
Minimum Requirements:
- Holds a minimum of 1,000 hours on type (ATR aircraft).
- Possesses a valid UK CAA Licence.
- Holds a United Kingdom passport.
- Is currently qualified and current on ATR Aircraft operations.
- Demonstrates ICAO Level 4 English Proficiency or higher.
- Holds a valid UK CAA 1st Class Medical Certificate.
- Must have no history of accidents or incidents.
- Holds the legal right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
