Fixed Wing Pilot - King Air C90 - Gillette, WY
Aviation professionals are invited to apply for the position of Fixed Wing Pilot, operating a King Air C90 aircraft in Gillette, Wyoming. The pilot will provide crucial medical air transportation services, ensuring the safe and efficient transport of customers. This role involves scheduled shifts of 14 days on and 14 days off, with both day and night operations. Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Commercial Airplane Multi Engine Land (C-AMEL) rating required; must be willing and able to obtain ATP within 5 years of employment.
- Valid and unexpired driver's license.
- Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate.
- Total flight hours: 2,500
- Fixed Wing hours: 2,000
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours: 1,000
- Cross Country hours: 500
- Multi-engine hours: 500
- Night hours: 100
- Instrument hours: 75 (with 50 actual)
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from designated locations and facilities.
- Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches, adhering to all relevant manuals, FARs, company requirements, and maintaining aircraft cleanliness.
- Maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation, including shift logs and load manifests.
- Communicate effectively with air and ground dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
- Provide thorough shift change briefings to transitioning pilots and teams, following established protocols for recording company change board details.
- Maintain all required certifications and participate in ongoing ground and air training.
Working Conditions:
- Must be capable of working in various outside weather conditions.
- May be required to de-ice the aircraft, assist with towing, maneuvering in and out of the hangar, and preparing the aircraft for flight.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- May assist with loading patients, requiring the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Must possess specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
