Fixed Wing Pilot - King Air C90, Springerville, AZ
Aviation professionals are invited to apply for a Fixed Wing Pilot position, operating a King Air C90 aircraft and providing critical medical air transportation services. This pilot will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the King Air C90, adhering to the highest safety standards and collaborating with a dedicated medical team. The position follows a 14 days on/14 days off schedule, encompassing both day and night flights.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive starting salary ranging from $109,401.12 to $120,298.03 annually.
- $15,000 sign-on bonus upon successful completion of training and checkride (no training contract required).
- $40,000 retention bonus after a 6-month waiting period (part of a 3-year program).
- Relocation assistance up to $3,000.
- Company-provided crew housing.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Commercial Airplane Multi Engine Land (C-AMEL) certificate is required. Must be willing and able to obtain ATP within 5 years of employment.
- Possession of a valid and unexpired driver's license.
- Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate.
- Minimum of 2,500 total flight hours.
- Minimum of 2,000 fixed-wing flight hours.
- Minimum of 1,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours.
- Minimum of 500 cross-country flight hours.
- Minimum of 500 multi-engine flight hours.
- Minimum of 100 night flight hours.
- Minimum of 75 instrument flight hours (with 50 actual instrument hours).
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure safe and timely patient transport.
- Maintain aircraft readiness, adhering to all applicable regulations, company policies, and cleanliness standards.
- Maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation, including shift records and load manifests.
- Communicate effectively with air and ground dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
- Provide comprehensive shift change information to the incoming pilot and team and adhere to company change board protocols.
- Maintain all necessary certifications and actively participate in ongoing ground and flight training.
Working Conditions:
- Work in various outside weather conditions may be required.
- May be required to perform deicing of the aircraft and assist with towing and maneuvering the aircraft.
- Participation in pre-flight aircraft preparation.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- May assist with patient loading with lifting requirements of up to 70 lbs.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
