Fixed Wing Pilot - King Air C90 - Air Medical Transport
A leading air medical transportation provider is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Fixed Wing Pilot to join its professional team. This critical role involves operating a King Air C90 aircraft to deliver essential medical air transportation services to customers, upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism. The successful candidate will contribute to a quality-focused team committed to exceptional safety for both crew and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transports customers to and from medical facilities in collaboration with a specialized medical team.
- Ensures comprehensive aircraft readiness for all flight dispatches, adhering strictly to Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and company operational requirements, including maintaining aircraft cleanliness.
- Accurately maintains all required company and regulatory documentation, including shift records and load manifests.
- Fosters effective communication and collaboration with air and ground dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and external partners.
- Provides detailed shift change information to transitioning pilots and teams, meticulously following protocols for recording company change board details.
- Continuously maintains all necessary certifications and actively participates in ongoing ground and air training programs.
- Demonstrates unwavering commitment to punctuality, reliability, and professionalism, consistently meeting elevated standards in safety and service.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Holds a Commercial Airplane Multi Engine Land (C-AMEL) or Commercial Airplane Single Engine Land (C-ASEL) certificate.
- Willingness and ability to obtain an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate within five years of employment.
- Possesses a valid and unexpired driver's license.
- Maintains a current FAA First- or Second-Class Medical Certificate.
- Total Flight Hours: 2,500
- Fixed Wing Hours: 2,000
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Hours: 1,000
- Cross Country Hours: 500
- Multi-Engine Hours: 500
- Night Hours: 100
- Instrument Hours: 75 (including 50 actual)
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual Salary Range: $116,386.05 - $128,034.13
- Scheduled Shift: 14 Days On, 21 Days Off (14/21), covering day and night trips.
- Incentives Include:
- $15,000 Sign-On Bonus (contingent upon successful completion of training and check ride).
- $40,000 Retention Bonus (available after a 6-month waiting period as part of a 3-year program).
- No training contract required.
- Up to $3,000 in relocation assistance.
- Paid crew housing.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
- Required to work in various outside weather conditions.
- Must be available for night, day, and overnight shifts as assigned.
- May be required to perform duties such as de-icing the aircraft, assisting with towing, maneuvering the aircraft in and out of the hangar, and preparing the plane for flight.
- Must be able to stand, walk, climb, bend, balance, sit, crouch, kneel, or crawl unassisted for extended periods.
- Ability to assist with patient loading and lift/move up to 150 pounds cumulatively with assistance.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
