Fixed Wing Pilot - Medical Air Transportation (King Air C90)
A premier medical air transportation provider is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Fixed Wing Pilot to join its professional team. This critical role involves delivering essential medical air transportation services, operating a King Air C90 aircraft. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring safe and efficient patient transport, contributing to a service deeply committed to high safety standards for both crew and customers.
Pilots operate on scheduled 14/21 shifts, with responsibilities covering both day and night missions. This position is ideal for an aviation professional who thrives in a quality-focused, safety-conscious environment and is dedicated to operational excellence.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Commercial Airplane Multi Engine Land (C-AMEL) certificate is mandatory.
- The pilot must be willing and able to obtain an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate within five years of employment.
- Possession of a valid and unexpired driver's license is required.
- A current FAA First-Class or Second-Class Medical Certificate is essential.
Flight Hour Requirements:
- A minimum of 2,500 Total Flight hours.
- At least 2,000 Fixed Wing hours.
- A minimum of 1,000 Pilot in Command (PIC) hours.
- 500 Cross Country hours.
- 500 Multi-Engine hours.
- 100 Night hours.
- 75 Instrument hours (including 50 actual instrument hours).
Additional Responsibilities & Work Environment:
- The pilot must be prepared to work in various outside weather conditions.
- Availability to work assigned night, day, and overnight shifts is crucial.
- Responsibilities may include aircraft de-icing, assisting with aircraft towing and maneuvering in and out of the hangar, and preparing the aircraft for flight.
