Helicopter Pilot (Air Medical Transport)

This pivotal role invites a highly skilled and dedicated Helicopter Pilot to join an esteemed team specializing in critical air medical transport. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the safe and efficient conveyance of patients, operating with the highest standards of professionalism and adherence to aviation regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborates effectively with a dedicated team of medical experts to ensure the safe and efficient transport of patients to and from various locations and medical facilities.
  • Ensures complete aircraft readiness for all flight dispatches, meticulously adhering to parameters outlined in relevant operational manuals, Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), and specific Med-Trans requirements.
  • Performs thorough pre-flight inspections, adheres strictly to all pre-dispatch protocols, and maintains exceptional standards of aircraft cleanliness and operational preparedness.

Required Qualifications

  • Possession of a current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
  • A valid Helicopter Instrument Rating.
  • A current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
  • A minimum of 2,000 total flight hours.
  • At least 1,500 helicopter flight hours.
  • A minimum of 1,000 helicopter Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours.
