Key Responsibilities
- Collaborates effectively with a multidisciplinary team of medical experts to ensure the safe and timely air transport of patients to and from designated locations and medical facilities.
- Ensures comprehensive aircraft readiness for all flight dispatches, meticulously adhering to operational procedures outlined in relevant manuals, Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), and specific company (Med-Trans) requirements.
- Performs thorough pre-flight inspections, maintains aircraft cleanliness, and completes all necessary post-flight duties to ensure optimal operational integrity.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- Possession of a current FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Rotorcraft privileges.
- Holds a valid Helicopter Instrument Rating.
- Possession of a current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
- A minimum of 2,000 total flight hours.
- A minimum of 1,500 helicopter flight hours.
- A minimum of 1,000 helicopter Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours.
