Pilot Job Description
The Pilot is responsible for safely operating aircraft while adhering to all regulations and company procedures. This role involves working closely with medical teams to facilitate the transport of individuals requiring air ambulance services.
Requirements:
- Minimum total flight time of 2,500 hours.
- Holds a valid Commercial Airplane Multi Engine Land (C-AMEL) or Commercial Airplane Single Engine Land (C-ASEL) certificate.
- Must be willing and able to obtain an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate within five years of employment.
- Possesses a current and unexpired driver's license.
- Holds a current FAA First- or Second-Class Medical Certificate.
- Required flight experience includes:
- 2,500 Total Flight hours
- 2,000 Fixed Wing hours
- 1,000 Pilot in Command (PIC) hours
Responsibilities:
- Works collaboratively with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from designated locations and facilities.
- Ensures aircraft readiness for flight dispatches by following procedures outlined in appropriate manuals and checklists.
