A leading air medical transport provider is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Helicopter Pilot to join its critical care team. This vital role involves ensuring the safe and efficient air transportation of patients, maintaining the highest standards of aviation safety, and ensuring meticulous operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborates seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team of medical experts to ensure the safe and timely air transport of patients to and from diverse locations and medical facilities.
- Maintains complete aircraft readiness for all flight dispatches, strictly adhering to company operational manuals, Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), and specific Med-Trans requirements.
- Conducts comprehensive pre-flight inspections, post-flight procedures, and is responsible for the overall cleanliness and operational integrity of the assigned aircraft.
Minimum Qualifications
- Possession of a current FAA Commercial Rotorcraft Certificate with Helicopter Instrument Rating.
- A valid FAA Class II Medical Certificate is required.
- A minimum of 2,000 hours of total flight time.
- At least 1,500 hours of helicopter flight time.
- A demonstrated 1,000 hours of Helicopter Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
