Minimum Qualifications and Flight Experience
Prospective candidates must meet the following minimum flight hour requirements:
- Total Flight Time: A minimum of 2,500 total flight hours.
- Fixed Wing Hours: At least 2,000 hours in fixed-wing aircraft.
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Hours: A minimum of 1,000 PIC hours.
- Multi-Engine Hours: At least 500 hours in multi-engine aircraft.
Required Certifications and Licenses
- Possession of a Commercial Airplane Single Engine Land (C-ASEL) or Commercial Airplane Multi-Engine Land (C-AMEL) certificate is mandatory.
- A current, valid, and unexpired driver's license.
- A current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate.
- A strong commitment to obtaining an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate within five years of employment is required.
