Role and Core Responsibilities
The successful candidate will function as a vital component of the air medical transport system, ensuring unparalleled safety and operational readiness for high-stakes missions. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborating seamlessly with a specialized team of medical experts (nurses, paramedics) to execute the safe and timely transport of customers to and from specified locations and critical care facilities.
- Maintaining absolute aircraft readiness for all flight dispatches, encompassing meticulous pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight procedures as defined in the appropriate maintenance and operational manuals.
- Ensuring full compliance with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), company policies, and comprehensive safety management protocols.
- Executing essential duties related to aircraft presentation and cleanliness, ensuring the environment is sterile and professional for medical transport.
Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must demonstrate a proven history of safe flight operations and hold the following mandatory certifications and experience levels:
- Possession of a current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
- Mandatory Helicopter Instrument Rating.
- Possession of a current FAA Class II Medical Certificate (or higher).
- Minimum Total Flight Time: 2,500 Hours.
- Minimum Helicopter Flight Time: 1,500 Hours.
- Minimum Helicopter Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 1,000 Hours.
