Air Medical Transport Pilot
A reputable aviation services provider is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Air Medical Transport Pilot to join its critical care flight operations team. This pivotal role involves the safe and efficient air transport of patients, working in close collaboration with medical professionals to deliver seamless and exceptional patient care during all flight missions. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of aircraft operational readiness and adherence to all flight dispatch protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate aircraft for the transport of patients to and from diverse medical facilities and designated locations.
- Effectively collaborate with a specialized team of medical experts to ensure the highest quality and continuity of patient care throughout transport.
- Maintain the aircraft in a constant state of readiness for all flight dispatches, rigorously adhering to all pertinent operational manuals, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Execute comprehensive pre-flight inspections, meticulous flight planning, and diligent post-flight duties in strict accordance with company standards and aviation regulations.
Qualifications
Certifications & Licenses:
- Possession of a valid Commercial Airplane Multi-Engine Land (C-AMEL) or Commercial Airplane Single-Engine Land (C-ASEL) certificate is required.
- A current FAA First-Class or Second-Class Medical Certificate must be held and maintained.
- Candidates must possess a valid and unexpired driver's license.
- Willingness and demonstrated ability to obtain an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate within five (5) years of employment is mandatory.
Flight Experience:
- A minimum of 2,500 total flight hours.
- A minimum of 2,000 fixed-wing flight hours.
- A minimum of 1,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours.
