About the Role
George J. Priester Aviation seeks a qualified Challenger 604 Captain (PIC) to operate a Part 135 aircraft based in Pontiac, MI (PTK). The position operates within a dynamic Part 135 and Part 91 environment and offers a competitive salary range of $210,000.00 - $230,000.00 annually.

Responsibilities

Act as the Pilot in Command (PIC) with final authority for the safe operation of the Challenger 604.

Ensure strict adherence to all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), company policies, and operational procedures.

Conduct thorough pre-flight planning, including weather analysis, performance calculations, and aircraft airworthiness checks.

Maintain effective Crew Resource Management (CRM) throughout all flight phases.

Provide a high level of passenger service, ensuring safety, comfort, and satisfaction.

Actively participate in the company’s Safety Management System (SMS), identifying and mitigating risks.

Mentor and guide First Officers and other flight crew members.

Complete all required post-flight documentation accurately and promptly.

Ensure all flight operations comply with FAA regulations and maintain required certifications.
Requirements

Minimum 5000 total flight hours.

Minimum 2500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).

Minimum 2500 hours multi-engine land experience, with 1500 hours as multi-engine PIC.

Minimum 2000 hours in turbine aircraft.

Minimum 500 hours of instrument time.
Qualifications

Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with a multi-engine land rating.

Current First-Class Medical Certificate.

FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit is preferred.

Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, flight planning, and safety management systems.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Proficiency in flight planning and aviation management software.

Previous experience in Part 135 operations is highly desirable.
