Salary Range: $320,000.00 - $340,000.00 per year

Position Summary

The Pilot in Command (PIC) holds final authority for the safe and efficient operation of the Global 6000 aircraft based in Englewood, CO. This role manages all phases of flight, including mission planning, crew coordination, risk mitigation, and passenger relations, while ensuring full compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Flight Operations: Serve as the final authority for the aircraft, ensuring adherence to FAA regulations and internal operating procedures.
  • Pre-flight Planning: Execute comprehensive flight preparations, including weather analysis, performance and fuel calculations, and airworthiness checks.
  • Crew Resource Management (CRM): Facilitate effective communication and teamwork to maintain professional flight standards and safety.
  • Passenger Service: Deliver premium customer service, prioritizing passenger safety, comfort, and satisfaction.
  • Safety Management: Actively participate in the company’s Safety Management System (SMS) by identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Mentorship: Provide leadership and professional guidance to First Officers and flight crew members.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate post-flight records, including logbooks, trip reports, and maintenance reporting.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all certifications, medical requirements, and training records remain current.

Qualifications

Required Experience & Certification

  • Minimum 5,000 total flight hours.
  • 2,500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
  • 2,500 hours multi-engine land, with 1,500 hours as multi-engine PIC.
  • 2,000 hours in turbine aircraft and 500 hours instrument time.
  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with multi-engine land rating.
  • Current First-Class Medical Certificate.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Bombardier Global aircraft.
  • Type-rated on the Global 6000 (BD-700).
  • Mountain flying experience (e.g., KASE).
  • Previous experience in Part 135 operations.
  • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.
