First Officer
Main Objective of the Role
The First Officer assumes a pivotal role as Second in Command, with the paramount objective of ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. This critical position involves providing diligent support to the Captain/Aircraft Commander in managing all aspects of flight, including both normal and non-normal situations, strictly adhering to established operational directives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides continuous, proactive input and assistance to the Captain to guarantee that all flights are operated in a safe, compliant, and highly efficient manner.
- Acts as a distinguished brand ambassador for the airline, upholding exceptionally high personal standards of discipline, conduct, and appearance at all times while on duty.
- Demonstrates unwavering responsibility for the duty of care and welfare of both the flight crew and all passengers onboard.
- Supports the Commander in meticulously overseeing appropriate fueling procedures, accurate baggage and cargo loading, and comprehensive aircraft servicing to maintain operational readiness.
- Ensures the precise execution of all duties and procedures as specifically outlined and detailed within the Company's comprehensive Operations Manuals.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic is essential for effective communication.
- Minimum flight experience requirements:
- 225 hours flying time for applicants aged 20-34.
- 1,000 hours flying time for applicants aged 35-50.
- For foreign license holders: Successful completion of the GCAA Air-Law exam.
- English Language Proficiency (ELP) level 4 or above.
- Possession of a current 1st Class Medical Certificate issued by ICAO.
- Valid Commercial Pilot License with Instrument Rating (CPL/IR) and a Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) certificate, qualifying for a Frozen ATPL.
- Proof of completion of military service or military exemption is preferred.

Information Security (ISR) Requirements
The First Officer is obligated to diligently read and comply with the Company's Information Security (ISR) policies. This includes promptly reporting any identified weaknesses or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team, completing all mandated ISR awareness sessions, and strictly adhering to associated guidelines in all day-to-day business operations to maintain robust data and operational security.
