Second in Command - Airline Pilot

The primary objective of this role is to ensure the safe operation of the aircraft, acting as Second in Command, during both normal and non-normal situations. The individual will operate under the directives of the Captain or aircraft Commander, and if applicable, the First Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

The Second in Command provides continuous input and assistance to the Captain to ensure flights are operated in a safe and efficient manner. He acts as a brand ambassador of the airline, especially while on duty, and maintains a high personal standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance. He demonstrates responsibility for the duty of care and welfare of the crew and customers. He supports the commander in ensuring the appropriate fueling, baggage/cargo loading, and appropriate servicing of the aircraft. Furthermore, he ensures the proper execution of his duties, adhering to the instructions and procedures laid down in the airline's Operations Manuals.

ISR Requirements:

The Second in Command reads and complies with the company's ISR policies and diligently reports any weaknesses or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. He completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
